2016 Chicago Salsa Championships

$20.00Two Categories of Competition:
Amateur: Has not received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form within the past 5 years.
Professional/Open: Anyone is welcome to enter this division. Those that have received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form within the past 5 years MUST enter this division.
If one person in the dance partnership has received financial compensation for teaching or performing in any dance form within the past 5 years, they must dance in the Professional/Open Division. A dancer that qualifies and dances in the Amateur division may also dance in the Professional/Open division with a different partner. Each entry must pay an entry fee.
The Contest!
Any couple welcome to enter. Lead/Follow, no routines. Top placements win great prizes including CASH, scholarships, passes and more.
To Register for the SALSA Competitions, complete and mail the forms linked below, plus $15 contest entry per couple, print and send to be received by us no later than January 22 (if you submit late, it’s $20 at the door) to:

Amateur Division
1st Place: $150 Dance Scholarship, Passes to the Chicago International Salsa Congress TBD, 6 months VIP entry to Willowbrook Salsa Wednesdays, & other great prizes
2nd Place: $100 Dance Scholarship, Passes to the Chicago International Salsa Congress TBD, 3 months VIP entry to Willowbrook Salsa Wednesdays, & other great prizes
3rd Place: $50 Dance Scholarship, 4 free passes to Willowbrook Salsa Wednesdays, & other great prizes
